Photronics Announces Shareholder Meeting and Its Eighth Annual Analyst Meeting Schedules

BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- Photronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:PLAB), a worldwide leader in supplying innovative imaging technology solutions for the global electronics industry, today announced the dates of its regular Annual Shareholders' Meeting and its Eighth Annual Analyst Meeting. Both meetings, as well as any presentation slides, will be simulcast live and archived on Photronics' website at www.photronics.com.

The Annual Shareholders' Meeting will be held at the Company's headquarters in Brookfield, Connecticut on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 10:00a.m. ET. Shareholders of record as of February 14, 2006 will be entitled to vote on those issues incorporated into the Company's proxy statement, which the Company anticipates will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission by February 24, 2006.

Photronics' Eighth Annual Analyst Meeting will be held at the Hotel InterContinental in New York, New York on Thursday, April 6, 2006. The meeting will begin with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m. ET. Management's presentations will begin at approximately 8:30a.m. ET. Michael J. Luttati, Chief Executive Officer will provide an overview of the Company's recent performance and present Photronics' strategic positioning within the global semiconductor and flat panel display manufacturing industries, outlining the Company's goals and objectives for the upcoming year. Joining Mr. Luttati for a question and answer period will be: Sean Smith, Chief Financial Officer; Dr. Christopher Progler, Chief Technology Officer; and Dr. Soo Hong Jeong, President-Asia.
