AOL announced today that Budweiser's "Streaker" is the winner of the fourth annual AOL Super Sunday Ad Poll, claiming 13 percent of the total votes (http://aol.com/superbowlads). The annual ad poll began shortly after Super Bowl XL kick-off when viewers could watch and vote on their favorite Super Bowl XL commercials on the AOL.com(R) website. The ads were streamed more than 17 million times, and visitors cast more than 424,000 votes.
In a companion poll on AOL Sports featuring some of the most famous historic Super Bowl commercials of all time, Mean Joe Green's 1980 Coke commercial took the top spot with 30 percent of the vote.

"I congratulate Budweiser on winning the AOL Super Sunday Ad Poll," said Carlos Silva, Senior Vice President of AOL Sports and News. "Super Bowl ads are a highlight of the game and can spark as much debate as the plays and calls on the field. This is the 4th year we have conducted the poll, and it has become a popular Super Bowl feature on AOL.com for football fans and non-fans alike."
"The Super Bowl has long been the biggest TV viewing event of the year, with 89 million people tuning into the game last year," said Bernice Kanner, author of The Super Bowl of Advertising: How the Commercials Won the Game. "With the ads becoming an increasingly popular reason to watch the game, this highly anticipated event is the Super Bowl of advertising."
In 2005, Anheuser Busch's Tribute to American Troops was the AOL Super Sunday Ad Poll winner, while Pepsi's Cindy Crawford commercial was the most viewed. Mean Joe Greene's Coca-Cola commercial from Super Bowl XIV in 1980 was the fans' all-time favorite.
All of Super Bowl XL ads will be available for viewing on the AOL.com website for the coming weeks.
