Simpler-Webb Inc. Announces Exchange Resource Manager Version 1.35 Passes Microsoft Platform Test
Business Wire, Feb 9, 2006
AUSTIN, Texas -- Simpler-Webb Inc., a globally recognized leader in messaging and calendaring, announced today that their latest version of Exchange Resource Manager (ERM) version 1.35 passed Microsoft Platform Testing for Windows 2003 Server. Through the platform test, VeriTest, an independent testing organization, confirms ERM properly executes and is stable on Microsoft Windows 2003 server. Additionally, the testing verified proper usage of Windows Resources, Active Directory support, as well as maintaining services during installation, operation and removal.
"Passing the Microsoft Platform test reassures our customers that ERM is a stable, Windows Server 2003 friendly product," says Andy Webb, President of Simpler-Webb. "Through this test, we address any potential concerns about installing our resource scheduling solution on the Exchange Server."
ERM is an Exchange-based Resource Management solution compatible with both Exchange 2000 and 2003. ERM fulfills resource scheduling requirements while also offering over 30 customizable options to fit each organization's unique resource management needs. A new feature in the current release is a new recurring meeting macro providing the organizer useful, customized messages about their recurring meeting request status.
"We had been fighting non-working, inconsistent scheduling of meetings against resources since our conversion to Exchange," said Joseph Kocinski, Network Administrator of Canton Township. "Once we purchased ERM, our lives became enjoyable again in the matter of the few minutes it took to license ERM."
A fully functional free version of ERM for managing up to two (2) resources is available for download to registered guests at www.simpler-webb.com/erm.
