Global MediaZone Programming Helps Drive New Google Video Marketplace; MediaZone's Vast Library of World-Class Sports and International Entertainment Content Enhances Google Video Store Offering

Business Wire, Jan 11, 2006

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- MediaZone has been tapped to add depth to the menu of video content available on the newly created Google Video Store. Consumers can now search and download a vast collection of MediaZone programming online at http://video.google.com, from popular international sporting events to rich, global video content from China, South Africa and the Americas. More in-depth programming is available at www.MediaZone.com.

MediaZone's featured downloadable programming at launch of the Google Video Store includes top-tier rugby matches like "The All Blacks of New Zealand vs. Springboks of South Africa," and the 2005 Super 12 Final, the UPC Final and the Currie Cup Final. MediaZone will also provide complete coverage of The 2006 Mavericks Surf Contest(R) near Half Moon Bay, California. It has been called both the "Super Bowl of big-wave surfing" and the "most dangerous surf contest in the world."

"The internet serves a global audience, and the combination of Google's powerful search engine and MediaZone's vast library of video content creates a winning formula," said MediaZone COO Michelle Wu. "MediaZone is excited to lend our content aggregation and packaging expertise in sports, lifestyle, and international content to the new Google Video Store."

MediaZone was among a select group of media providers recruited to launch the Google Video Store, announced at last week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
