CipherTrust Appoints Tom Chin Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific Region; Former Network Appliance Executive and 20-year Technology and Sales Veteran to Lead Operations and Foster Growth Opportunities in Asia Pacific

ATLANTA -- CipherTrust, Inc., the global market leader in messaging security, today announced Tom Chin has joined CipherTrust(R) as its new vice president and general manager of the Asia Pacific territory. A former Network Appliance executive and 20-year technology and sales veteran, Chin will lead all sales and operations in the region to support CipherTrust's rapidly growing customer and partner base throughout the Asia Pacific.

With 20 years of sales and technology experience, Chin's expertise extends to the successful sales, business development, recruitment, training and operations of channel-based operations throughout Asia. Most recently, he was the vice president of Asia Pacific for Network Appliance, Inc. where he oversaw development in the Asia Pacific market which included Greater China, Korea, Southeast Asia, India, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Network Appliance, Chin served as senior director of sales-Asia Pacific for Adaptec Corporation. Previously, he served as vice president of sales at ETEQ Microsystems, and also worked for Wang Laboratories, Pacific Micro Marketing, and CFH Associates.
