Neverfail's High Availability Solution is a Recipient of TechTarget SearchWinSystem.com's `2005 Products of the Year' Award; High Availability/Disaster Recovery Product Suite Takes Silver in the Storage Management Software Category
Business Wire, Jan 17, 2006
AUSTIN, Texas -- The Neverfail Group (Neverfail), a leading global software company providing affordable high availability and disaster recovery solutions designed to keep users continuously connected to business critical applications, proudly announces that its High Availability Solution product line was named to SearchWinSystem.com's "2005 Products of the Year." Neverfail's High Availability Solution garnered the Silver Award in the Storage Management Software category.
SearchWinSystem.com's Product of the Year awards are presented by the editors of TechTarget's Windows Media Group, and the panel of judges included the SearchWinSystem.com's editorial staff in conjunction with a team of users, industry experts, analysts and consultants. Winners were selected according to criteria based upon innovation, performance, ease of integration into existing environments, ease of use and manageability, functionality and value. Judges selected the Products of the Year among storage management software products introduced, upgraded and shipped between September 30, 2004 and October 1, 2005.
Neverfail's High Availability Solution includes easy-to-install, easy-to-manage high availability/disaster recovery software for Windows-based applications, including Exchange, SQL Server, IIS, File Server, SharePoint and BlackBerry. Neverfail also offers a range of additional, optional products that ensure true high availability and data protection for a wide variety of challenges, including:
--Application Module eXtensions, which provide complete, out-of-the-box protection for auxiliary applications operating in conjunction with mission-critical Microsoft Server technologies, such as anti-virus, archiving, back-up, anti-spam, and fax products. These AMXs enable clients to protect vital auxiliary applications without the cost. Unlike other high availability/disaster recovery software products, no custom scripts are required.
--The Neverfail Low Bandwidth Module (LBM), which can reduce the bandwidth usage between the active and passive servers more effectively so that networking costs are reduced. The Neverfail Low Bandwidth Module can be implemented in both a LAN and WAN environment.
--Neverfail Data Rollback Module, which rapidly restores an application to an earlier point in time, providing protection against the risk of data corruption.
Judges in the Product of the Year competition noted that "The Neverfail High Availability Solution can be configured for either a LAN or WAN environment, and it's simple to operate. For example, it allows users to resynchronize servers (when the primary server comes back online) with a click of a button."
Neverfail's Server Check Optimization Performance Evaluation (SCOPE), which provides information about the current running state of a server environment to help ensure a smooth installation, was also acknowledged by judges. They noted that SCOPE offers recommendations to establish an optimum platform for long-term reliability.
"We are honored that the Neverfail High Availability Solution was named as one of the best product suites in the Storage Management Software category by such a respected industry publication and demanding team of judges," said Neil Robertson, Group CEO of Neverfail. "This award is further validation of Neverfail's mission to reduce business downtime by keeping users connected and productive, irrespective of the cause or scale of the disaster -- and at a price point well within reach of small and medium-sized businesses."
Organizations of all sizes now rely on Neverfail High Availability solutions to protect their most critical business applications and data. Neverfail customers include NASA's Hubble Space Telescope program; Freightliner; Jersey Financial Services; Long Beach Memorial Medical Center; and the City of Kennesaw, Georgia.
"Neverfail provides a level of protection and application availability that other solutions can't match," says Dave Bennett, president of Florida-based Connections for Business, one of Neverfail's more than 400 partners and distributors worldwide. "In today's business world, companies can no longer tolerate an hour or more of downtime when a system disruption happens. With Neverfail, our clients get the benefits of high availability and top-notch data protection that was once only available through expensive and complex cluster environments. Because many of our clients operate in areas that are at risk for hurricanes each year, they understand the value of Neverfail's comprehensive, easy-to-manage solutions."
