PAR Technology Announces $3.8 Million Contract Award With Defense Finance and Accounting Service , Columbus, OH

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- PAR Subsidiary, RRC, Expands Into Program Training To Provide DFAS WAWF-RA Training to All Army Vendors And Army Personnel Globally
Rome Research Corporation (RRC), a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC - News), today announced the awarding of a $3.8 million Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) contract to provide I/T instruction and helpdesk services in support of the DFAS Wide Area Work Flow, Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) program in Columbus, Ohio.
WAWF-RA is a workflow software application that enables vendors to submit and track their invoices and Receipt/Acceptance documents electronically via the web. The application also enables the Government to electronically process this data and perform the government receipt and acceptance process normally captured during this operation. RRC personnel will instruct all U.S. Army government service acceptors/inspectors and service providers in the use of the WAWF-RA program. The contract performance period is two years.

In support of the WAWF-RA contract, RRC will provide DFAS with a team of highly experienced technical trainers that will travel to every U.S. Army location throughout the United States, Europe and Asia over the life of the contract. RRC will also establish a helpdesk capability to resolve complex end-user problems from the DFAS, Columbus, Ohio location.
