Proposion Announces Licensing Deal with Microsoft
Business Wire, Jan 18, 2006
SALISBURY, Mass. -- Proposion, Inc., the leading provider of Lotus Notes to Microsoft .NET integration and migration tools, today announced a license agreement with Microsoft Corporation for Proposion's Portal Migrator product. Proposion Portal Migrator is a tool that migrates Lotus Notes data to Microsoft SharePoint.
"This is a very important and exciting milestone for Proposion," said Stephen Walch, President of Proposion. "The license agreement we reached with Microsoft validates the quality of and demand for Proposion Portal Migrator as well as for our flagship product Proposion N2N, the data driver upon which Portal Migrator was built. Proposion N2N has enabled us to deliver a well rounded product line of tools that help organizations integrate Lotus Notes with the Microsoft .NET platform - - particularly SharePoint, SQL Server, and ASP.NET."
Proposion will continue to develop, enhance, and deliver Proposion Portal Migrator to the marketplace and further differentiate it from the technology licensed to Microsoft. Proposion Portal Migrator is complemented by Proposion's other products: Proposion Portal Adapter (which makes live Lotus Notes Email, Calendar, Tasks, and other standard Notes functionality available for use inside Microsoft SharePoint), Proposion N2N (an ADO.NET data driver for Lotus Notes), and Proposion Report Adapter (which connects Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services with Lotus Notes).
