Global Crossing Implements TEOCO's BillTrak Pro™ Network Cost Management Solution
Business Wire, Jan 23, 2006
FAIRFAX, Va. -- TEOCO, a leading provider of strategic business solutions to large and small enterprises, today announced that Global Crossing has implemented TEOCO's world-class BillTrak Pro(TM) product suite and utilized TEOCO's audit services.
As provider of the world's first integrated global IP-based network, Global Crossing needed a sophisticated solution to provide additional automated controls to its cost of access invoice and auditing process. To best meet these requirements, Global Crossing chose TEOCO and its robust BillTrak Pro(TM) product suite, including TEOCO's DataLoader, BillTrak Pro(TM) Analysis Module, and Rate Management Module. The two companies worked closely together to seamlessly implement the BillTrak Pro(TM) solution, which is already up-and-running at Global Crossing.
"We thoroughly researched telecommunications network cost vendors before ultimately selecting TEOCO due to their telecom knowledge, automation experience and comprehensive and secure product offering," said Rob Klug, chief accounting officer at Global Crossing. "We value the advanced functionality offered by the BillTrak Pro(TM) product suite - including complete electronic load of our invoices, detailed audit and account coding functionality, and sophisticated security and workflow capabilities."
In addition to implementing its BillTrak Pro(TM) solution, TEOCO is utilizing decades of experience to provide auditing services to Global Crossing. The one-time audit of Global Crossing's cost of access invoices is expected to generate enough savings to fund Global Crossing's BillTrak Pro(TM) purchase and to achieve even greater returns as additional credits are recognized over time.
"TEOCO is proud to supply Global Crossing with both our BillTrak Pro(TM) product suite and audit services - an approach that will afford them both significant and sustained cost savings," said John Devolites, Vice President and General Manager of TEOCO's Communications and Entertainment Solutions group. "The business and financial benefits achieved by Global Crossing as a result of their BillTrak Pro(TM) implementation will help them maintain their position as a recognized leader and innovator in the telecom industry."
