TEMPE, Ariz. -- Avnet Partner Solutions, Americas, a value-added distributor of enterprise servers, storage, software and services, today announced a new relationship with Lakeview Technology, an information availability company, to provide high availability and disaster recovery solutions to IBM solution providers.

Avnet Partner Solutions will offer Lakeview's MIMIX(R) information availability software for a range of platforms, including i5/OS(R), Windows(R), UNIX(R) and Linux(R). MIMIX software enables solution providers to deliver comprehensive business continuity solutions. Solution providers can expand their solution portfolio and generate new revenue streams by targeting existing and prospective end-user customers interested in protecting their IT environment and preventing planned or unplanned downtime.
