Stellent Kicks off Crescendo 2006 with Nearly 1,000 Customers, Partners and Industry Experts; Global User Conference Attendees Gather to Share Enterprise Content Management Best Practices During More Than 100 Sessions across Three Customized Tracks

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Stellent, Inc. (Nasdaq:STEL), a global provider of content management solutions, today kicked off Crescendo(TM) 2006, its third annual global user conference being held through Feb. 1, 2006 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Fla.
Nearly 1,000 customers, partners and industry experts have gathered to share best practices, trends and new product developments for enterprise content management; multi-site Web content management; and governance, risk and compliance.

--General Session -- Stellent kicked off Crescendo with a general session - presented by Olson and Stellent executive vice president of marketing and business development Dan Ryan - which highlighted the company's successes and previewed upcoming 2006 strategies.
--Conference Sessions -- Stellent held the first of more than 100 sessions across three customized tracks. These tracks cover various product and technical topics, as well as content management and compliance best practices presentations from partners and customers, including Accenture, CIGNA Corp., Fujitsu Ltd., KPMG International, Malt-O-Meal Co., Protiviti Inc., Rexam Plc. and many more.
--Stellent Solutions Center and Partner Expo -- The Stellent Solutions Center opened, providing attendees with an opportunity to speak one-on-one with Stellent technology experts, view product demonstrations and learn more about the latest product releases in an interactive environment. Attendees also can visit the Partner Expo to learn more about technologies that complement and extend Stellent solutions.

--Keynote Speaker -- On Oct. 3, 1993, while piloting a Black Hawk helicopter in Somalia, Army master aviator Michael Durant was shot down and held captive by hostile forces for 11 days. Durant's story is part of the inspiration behind the movie Black Hawk Down, and his experiences are recounted in the New York Times bestseller In the Company of Heroes. At Crescendo 2006, Durant will share his first-hand account of those 11 chilling days and nights, and the life lessons he's learned as a result.
