Illumina to Webcast Presentation at JP Morgan Healthcare Conference

SAN DIEGO -- Illumina, Inc. (NASDAQ:ILMN) announced today that Jay Flatley, President and CEO, will present an overview of the Company's commercial and product development activity at the upcoming JP Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco, CA.
Mr. Flatley's presentation will be webcast live beginning on or about 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on Thursday, January 12, 2006. The webcast presentation may be accessed at http://equityconferences.jpmorgan.com/ where it will be archived for 30 days following the presentation.
Illumina (www.illumina.com) is developing next-generation tools that permit large-scale analysis of genetic variation and function. The Company's proprietary BeadArray(TM) technology -- now used in leading genome centers around the world -- provides the throughput, cost effectiveness and flexibility to enable researchers in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries to perform the billions of tests necessary to extract medically valuable information from advances in genomics and proteomics.
