Today KONICA MINOLTA PRINTING SOLUTIONS U.S.A., INC. introduced the PagePro 1400W, the company's most compact and affordable black & white laser printer to date. Sized to fit on a desktop and priced to fly off the shelf, this black & white printer makes quick printing and laser quality affordable for everyone.
The PagePro 1400W, priced at just $119.99, is perfectly sized and equipped for the home office or small business. It weighs only 15.6 pounds and measures less than 14" x 11" to fit perfectly in small workspaces. Its Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface provides "Plug and Play" compatibility with Microsoft Windows (XP/2000/Me/98SE), supporting virtually every application used in home and small offices today.
Easy to set up and use, the PagePro 1400W ships with pre-installed supplies and an auto-run Utilities CD that have you up and running in just minutes. Print job progress can be viewed right from the computer through the helpful on-screen Status Display. And all supplies are easy to access and replace from the front of the printer.
The PagePro 1400W delivers its first page in 13 seconds and prints letter-size pages at a quick 17 ppm, for today's on-the-go work style. Its 9,000 page-per-month duty cycle means customers can rely on the PagePro 1400W to provide continuous, worry-free printing. This printer also comes with a one-year exchange warranty and five years of free, U.S.-based technical support for added reliability.
At 1200 x 600 dpi, the PagePro 1400W delivers fine image details, sharp text even at small font sizes, and crisp lines in graphics and clip art. No special media is required to get the best results from the PagePro 1400W. This low-priced monochrome laser produces the same professional print quality on all supported media, including plain paper, thick stock, transparencies, labels, envelopes--even recycled paper. And it is surprisingly versatile handling a wide variety of media sizes, from postcard (3.9" x 5.8") to legal (8.5" x 14"), with an adjustable, 150-sheet multipurpose tray.
"The design goal of the PagePro 1400W was to develop an affordable laser printer that would fit into the smallest of workspaces--home office, dorm room, cubicle, or desktop--and still provide the speed and quality only a laser can offer," said Steve Fletcher, president and COO of KONICA MINOLTA PRINTING SOLUTIONS. "This feature combination makes the PagePro 1400W the perfect personal laser for both home and small office."
The PagePro 1400W has a one-year exchange warranty and ships with a black toner cartridge and OPC drum. The printer is available through KONICA MINOLTA's network of retailers, e-commerce, and distribution partners. To find the location nearest you, call 800-523-2696 or visit www.buyPagePro.com.
