COMPTON, Calif. -- Belkin's new TuneCommand AV for iPod allows you to watch and listen to your iPod through your home entertainment system, while simultaneously powering and charging your iPod through a docking station. Its wireless handheld RF remote control gives you a range of up to 120 feet, allowing you to roam and play your song from virtually anywhere in your home, delivering the flexibility that iPod users desire. The TuneCommand AV will begin shipping in North America in April 2006.
The TuneCommand AV will be on display at the 2006 International CES Show in Las Vegas, NV, January 5-8, at 31247 South Hall and at Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, CA, January 10-13, at 717 South Hall.

Using wireless radio-frequency technology, the TuneCommand AV Remote maintains an operating distance of up to 120 feet, regardless of barriers such as walls, ceilings, or windows that limit traditional remotes. It features eight basic functions: play/pause, next track, previous track, volume up and down, shuffle songs, and repeat. When used with the iPod video, photo, or nano, the TuneCommand AV lets you watch your downloaded videos and view and navigate your photos on your home television.
