Business Wire, Jan 9, 2006

AUSTIN, Texas -- NetQoS(R) Inc. has hired Robert Machnacki to lead the expansion of the company's growing professional services and consulting organization in the newly created position of vice president of services.

"NetQoS performance engineers have developed a set of proven best practices and expertise over the past five years working with Global 2000 organizations, and we are experiencing growing demand for these services to help IT organizations continually improve network and application performance," said Joel Trammell, NetQoS CEO. "As an accomplished business leader and former IT executive, Robert Machnacki is the right person to spearhead our growth from product-related professional services to broader network performance management consulting offerings."

Machnacki will oversee the delivery of NetQoS' Product Implementation, Training and Advisory services, as well as a new line of product-neutral consulting services that will help organizations get the most value from their network infrastructure. These new services are based on the NetAnalyst offerings recently acquired from Orangevale, Calif.-based Pine Mountain Group (PMG). They include:

NetQoS Critical Problem Resolution: The NetQoS Critical Problem Resolution (CPR) service provides rapid diagnoses of network infrastructure, operations, and application problems as well as long-term solutions to promote optimal operation of the network.

NetQoS Network Health Check: The NetQoS Network Health Check service provides an enterprise health assessment and prescription for network reconfiguration and growth.

NetQoS Application Impact Analysis: The NetQoS Application Impact Analysis process assesses the performance of the application on a specific network to determine its impact and generates recommendations for optimization of both the application and network.

NetQoS DocuNet(TM): The NetQoS DocuNet service provides the architectural detail required to support design, operation, troubleshooting, and control of a network in a single set of diagrams.

The NetQoS team of experienced network performance engineers includes PMG founder and Certified NetAnalyst Bill Alderson, who as a NetQoS senior consultant is continuing his 25-year career diagnosing problems in large scale networks, especially during crisis situations.

"NetQoS has set the standard for customer satisfaction by supporting and augmenting its high-value products with network engineering expertise," said Machnacki. "I am pleased to continue that tradition by expanding our services to help many more organizations diagnose and correct critical problems, plan for network expansion, and hone network performance management knowledge and skills."

Machnacki has more than 19 years of experience in information technology organizations. Most recently, he served as a client business executive with Amdocs, where he managed large accounts for the North American services and delivery organization. Prior to Amdocs, Machnacki was a business executive and consultant with AIS Software and Consultants. Before AIS, Machnacki served as vice president of information technology for Excel Communications, where he spearheaded IT development and maintenance initiatives with a $30 million budget.

Machnacki has a master's degree in business administration from Wayne State University and a bachelor's degree in accounting and management information systems from Central Michigan University.
