KleinBank Automates Consumer Loan Process with Cypress Software's Mark IV
Business Wire, July 11, 2006
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas -- KleinBank of Chaska, Minn. has selected Cypress Software Systems LP's Mark IV software to automate the bank's consumer loan application process.
KleinBank installed Mark IV in all of its 19 branches across Minnesota, and completed the implementation in October 2005. Bank officials chose Mark IV to bring needed efficiency and consistency to their consumer lending process and ultimately increase customer satisfaction.
"Over time, our bank grew in part through mergers with nine other institutions, which meant we also had to fuse nine different lending cultures and routines. Mark IV has provided a single, unified lending method to our bank, bringing needed consistency to our consumer loan operations," said Tom Erickson, vice president and assistant chief credit officer at KleinBank. "Mark IV also offers a very user-friendly interface, and has also helped us improve our lending efficiency and quality."
Cypress' Mark IV platform allows lenders to take loan applications electronically while interviewing applicants, quickly retrieve credit reports, efficiently review sources of repayment, and deploy their loan policies. Cypress provides these tools to financial institutions with the goal of speeding a quality loan decision back to the applicant.
"Our loan origination software offerings provide banks of all sizes with the means to streamline and automate their lending processes," said Stephen G. Sargent, president and chief executive officer of Cypress Software Systems. "We expect KleinBank to benefit greatly from their Mark IV implementation by giving them more control over their loan operations and a boost in customer service."
KleinBank was founded in 1907 by two brothers - C.H. Klein and C.P. Klein - in Chaska, Minn. Today, the bank is still family-owned and operated, with $1.3 billion in assets, more than 400 employees and 19 branches across Minnesota. KleinBank prides itself as a family of community-focused banks with a mission to serve the needs of local residents and businesses.
