ModusLink Honored With Progressive Supplier Award From Toshiba; Recognized for Innovative New Inventory Management System

(Nasdaq: CMGI), today announced that it has been honored with the Progressive Supplier Award from Toshiba Information Equipment (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., (TIH), a leading provider of notebook computers. The award was given in recognition of ModusLink's contributions to the improvement of TIH's inventory management and supply chain processes. Over the past year, ModusLink has worked closely with TIH to develop a customized, highly-effective inventory management system, resulting in a significant reduction in inventory holding costs and an improvement in overall supply chain efficiency.
The award was one of only three granted and was presented at Toshiba Information Equipment (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd.'s Bi-Annual Supplier Event in June 2006.
