NETSHARE® Launches ''Ask the Coach'' to Aid Executives Who Need Advice for Job Searches; New Monthly Q&A Program Designed to Deliver Expert Advice and Help Keep Job Seekers Focused and Motivated
Business Wire, July 17, 2006
NOVATO, Calif. -- Senior-level executives looking for advice or strategies in the midst of their job search can now gain expert career counsel through the new "Ask The Coach" program, a new weekly Q&A session that begins July 17 and is hosted by NETSHARE(R), (www.netshare.com) a confidential subscription-based career site for executives.
The "Ask The Coach" weekly call-in sessions are free to NETSHARE members and will offer leading career advisors who will provide tips on personal branding, career triage to find weak points, online networking strategies, and answers to common career strategy questions. "Ask The Coach" is also structured to be a weekly pep talk to keep job seekers motivated and accountable, helping senior executives determine and meet their goals with the help of different career experts.
"Too often, we at NETSHARE discover that executives find the job search process to be isolating," said Kathy Simmons, CEO of NETSHARE. "Our hope is that the call-in format for 'Ask The Coach' will help executives realize they're not alone. Hearing from others with similar challenges or concerns can also be a great way to learn by example."
For many senior executives who are used to being authorities in their own fields, it can be difficult to admit that they are not experts at job transitioning or managing their own careers. "Ask The Coach" provides a place for executives to not only learn from the career experts, but to share strategies with their peers through interactive discussion.
Rotating expert counselors for "Ask The Coach" sessions include:
--Debbie Ellis, MRW, CPRW, and founder and president of the Phoenix Career Group, which specializes in developing personal branding messages and comprehensive marketing campaigns.
--Ron Bates, managing principal of the Executive Advantage Group, a retained search firm, and U.S. country manager for Ecademy.
--Cindy Kraft, executive and resume writer coach for CFOs, corporate finance executives, and banking management executive certified career and personal brand specialist.
--Deb Dib and Kim Batson, both executive coaches and Certified Personal Brand Specialists. Kim is known as the CIO's Coach, and Deb is known as America's Power Coach for Corporate Leaders.
