(Nasdaq:EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, today announced that digg.com, a rapidly growing "social content" web site, is operating at one of Equinix's Silicon Valley area Internet Business Exchange(TM) (IBX(R)) centers. The deployment enables digg to further leverage Equinix's reliable, secure and high-performance data center that offers immediate access to every major global network for the most efficient delivery of content to end-users.

digg is changing the way many people get their news and other Web content by harnessing the collective wisdom of the world's online audience to prioritize the overwhelming amount of content available on the Internet.
