LeapFrog Solutions Celebrates Tenth Anniversary; Award-Winning Firm Now Ranked as Leading DC-Area Marketing Communications Firm

Business Wire,  July 18, 2006

FAIRFAX, Va. -- LeapFrog Solutions, Inc. (LFS) is pleased to announce the celebration of its tenth anniversary as a full-service marketing communications firm. LFS, which serves a broad base of clients in government, technology, health care and business, is ranked among Washington's top design firms and is gaining steady growth as a leading area marketing communications, strategy, advertising and public relations firm.

LFS was founded in July 1996 by Lisa Martin, who started the company out of the basement of her Oakton, Virginia home. With year-end billings expected to surpass $2 million, LFS has become a highly respected player in the DC market. Today, it serves such well-known clients as GovWorks, a division of the Department of the Interior; AVIEL Systems, Inc; Pearson Government Solutions; Energy Dynamics; U.S. Dept. of Agriculture; Argy, Wiltse & Robinson, PC; Cox Business Services; and Fairfax County Government, to name a few. The firm also performs substantial pro bono work on behalf of Northern Virginia-based organizations, including the Equal Footing Foundation, Volunteer Fairfax, Leadership Fairfax, the Fairfax Choral Society and the Northern Virginia Community Foundation.

Since its inception, LFS has garnered continued acclaim for the creative it produces on its clients' behalf. In the past year, the firm has won numerous awards, including:

--Two International Davey Awards for excellence in print and collateral services for Panacea Consulting, Inc. and Volunteer Fairfax.

--An APEX Award for publication excellence for a "Conquering Cancer" CD illustration for the National Institutes of Health.

--Two DesignFirms.org Web Awards for Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and Metromath.

--Two 2005 Communicator Awards for a press kit and Web site created for iDirect Technologies.

--A My Business Cares program award for being a socially responsible business from Greater DC Cares and the Washington Business Journal.

Additionally, Martin was named one of this year's top "Women Who Make a Difference" by Minorities and Women in Business magazine.

Martin, who holds an MBA from George Washington University in marketing and international business, presently serves as the president/chairman of the board for Volunteer Fairfax. She also sits on the boards of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Fairfax and the Northern Virginia Technology Council.

Martin attributes LFS' success to the fact that the firm remains highly active in the greater Washington business community. "There are scores of agencies in this area," remarked Martin. "But I believe that we've been successful because we have the talent and we really take the time to get to know our customers, their business and their community; our focus is to make our clients' message matter by arming them with solid strategy and innovative creative."
