SYNNEX Expands Distribution Pact With Symantec to Include Former Veritas Storage Solutions; Company to Distribute Award Winning Symantec Backup Exec 10d for Windows Servers

FREMONT, Calif. -- SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE:SNX), a global IT supply chain services company, announced today it has signed an expanded strategic distribution partnership agreement with Symantec Corporation. The expanded partnership enables SYNNEX to now distribute storage solutions for Windows Servers, including the award winning product, Symantec Backup Exec 10d for Windows Servers.
Symantec Backup Exec 10d for Windows Servers is designed to utilize disk storage, delivering more reliable, faster, and more efficient, true continuous data protection for Windows servers. The Backup Exec product family revolutionizes data and system protection by eliminating backup windows and introduced the industry's first web-based file retrieval. Combined with its existing family of high performance agents and options for Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint Portal Server, and other database application data, Backup Exec 10d delivers the only comprehensive disk and tape based solutions.
