Hilton Garden Inn® Awarded ``Highest Guest Satisfaction Among Mid-Scale Hotel Chains With Full Service'' by J.D. Power and Associates for Precedent-Setting Fifth Consecutive Year
Business Wire, July 25, 2006
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Hilton Garden Inn(R), the fastest growing brand that is part of the Hilton Family of Hotels, announced it has received the "Highest Guest Satisfaction Among Mid-Scale Hotel Chains With Full Service" award in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study(SM). This accolade marks five consecutive years that Hilton Garden Inn has received the award, outranking other mid-scale full service brands included in the study.
"We are extremely proud to receive the J.D. Power and Associates award for the fifth consecutive year," said Adrian Kurre, senior vice-president - brand management, Hilton Garden Inn. "This recognition emphasizes the importance of providing consistent service and amenities to our guests while listening to what they need and want most to be productive when on the road. More importantly, we could not have achieved this award without the enthusiastic hotel team members who deliver exceptional service day in and day out to our guests, and without the continued support of our owners."
According to the study, Hilton Garden Inn received top ratings in all aspects of guest experience with special attention in the following areas: reservations, check-in/check-out, guest room, food and beverage, hotel services, hotel facilities and costs and fees.
The 2006 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study is based on responses from 42,211 guests who stayed in a hotel between January and June 2006.
All Hilton Garden Inn hotels offer complimentary wired (and wireless by year end 2006) high speed Internet access and remote printing to the hotel's complimentary 24-hour business center, the hospitality center which houses a mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker; a clutter-free oversized desk and ample plugs and outlets for charging portable electronics. Every hotel also features the Pavilion Pantry(R) where guests can purchase snacks, sundries and microwaveable items; a full service restaurant offering made-to-order breakfast (and in most locations, lunch and dinner); a comfortable lounge area and bar; flexible meeting space; a complimentary workout facility; swimming pool and whirlpool. With the rollout of the evolution guestroom (that offers the utmost in technology and comfort), many locations now offer the Garden Sleep System(R) bed, Herman Miller Mirra(TM) chair, a 26" flat screen high definition television and clock that allows guests to play their MP3 or portable CD player.
