Apani Networks' David M. Lynch to Be a Featured Speaker at Wall Street Technology Association Conference in New York; Lynch Will Examine Next Generation Security Architectures at Aug. 9 Event for Financial IT Executives

Lynch, vice president of worldwide marketing for Apani Networks, will deliver an address on next-generation security architectures at the upcoming Wall Street Technology Association (WSTA) conference, "Next Generation Data Challenges and Solutions"; a seminar for financial technology professionals in New York City.
The conference examines how IT executives can make smart choices for designing, implementing, and managing next-generation computing and networking architectures for the data center.
Lynch's presentation, "Enter the Matrix - A Look at Next Generation Security Architecture," is scheduled for Aug. 9, 2006, 9:15 a.m. at the New Yorker Hotel in Manhattan. Lynch will examine the impact of de-perimeterization on existing security architectures and look at how these need to evolve in order to effectively secure an enterprise environment. Attendees will learn how security architectures need to fully incorporate security technologies, including authentication, authorization, access control and data encryption, in order to be effective in the future.
A 30-year veteran of the enterprise technology, Lynch has spent the past 11 years in the data security industry, working and writing about technologies ranging from authentication and access control to security middleware, PKI, VPNs and compliance. Lynch holds degrees in nautical science, computer technology and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
