Entegris and Miraial Settle Intellectual Property Lawsuit

CHASKA, Minn. -- Entegris, Inc. (Nasdaq:ENTG) announced today that it had agreed to settle the intellectual property lawsuit that it had brought against Miraial Co. Ltd. Effective May 25, 2006, Entegris, Inc. and Miraial Co. Ltd. executed a Settlement and License Agreement with respect to a patent infringement suit that had been filed by Entegris, Inc. in June of 2005 and which was pending in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Pursuant to this settlement agreement, on June 5, 2006, the parties filed a Stipulation and Proposed Order of Dismissal with the Court providing for the dismissal with prejudice of this litigation. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
