eFoodSafety.com, Inc. Reports More Scientific Evidence Points Toward Bird Flu Pandemic; Bird Flu Virus Has Gone Global Spreading to over 40 Countries

Business Wire, July 26, 2006

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Patricia Gruden, President/CEO of eFoodSafety.com, Inc. (OTCBB:EFSF), reported today that the continued spread of Bird Flu outbreaks in new regions causes the increased probability of second stage human-to-human transmission and a global influenza pandemic of the Bird Flu virus according to World Bank reports.

Until recently, the highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 virus has been concentrated in East Asia, where about 10 countries had experienced outbreaks since late 2003, with the most serious in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and China. In the last six to nine months, the virus has gone global, spreading to over 40 more countries.

The World Bank has estimated that a severe avian flu pandemic among humans could cost the global economy about 3.1 percent of the gross domestic product - about US$1.25 trillion on a world gross domestic product of $40 trillion.

"We continue to work diligently with continued testing in the East Asian region, and are working to gain product exposure throughout this territory. In the event of an outbreak, our product's exposure will prove to be very significant in that the regional laboratories will already be familiar with Citroxin and its test results, and eFoodSafety.com, Inc. will subsequently have the ability to forward these results to the appropriate government agencies throughout regions where the outbreak has occurred," stated Mrs. Gruden.
