ST. LOUIS -- Maverick Tube Corporation (NYSE:MVK), has scheduled a conference call for Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. CT via live Internet Webcast. The purpose of the call is to discuss financial results for the Company's second quarter and provide an update on the status of the proposed merger with Tenaris.
