Manufacturer LIVE 2006 Launches Registration for Inaugural US Event; Deloitte, Chevron, Sponsor 2-day Symposium Covering Eight Manufacturing Disciplines
Business Wire, July 31, 2006
BOSTON -- Conquest Business Media (CBM), publishers of The Manufacturer and Energy Business, announced today that attendee registration officially opened for Manufacturer LIVE 2006, its inaugural US event in Chicago October 4-5, 2006. Registration can be accessed via The Manufacturer Live web site at www.themanufacturer.com/US/live.
> Manufacturer Live is a content-rich program for executive-level decision makers in a symposium environment. "It is one of the only comprehensive conferences for the manufacturing community with a program that covers all the pillars of manufacturing. Live 2006 was designed specifically for busy executives who need the most up-to-date information in one place," said Bruce Goldweitz, US General Manager, Conquest Business Media."These are not the same presentations you've seen at other shows. We have gone out of our way to provide original content, for example, having Hewlett-Packard talk about their new conduct program for suppliers, and AstraZeneca talking about how they drive down compliance costs."
The two-day conference takes a unique approach by integrating the show floor of 50 exhibitors with the conference rooms to provide an all-inclusive forum covering all components of CBM's seven pillars of manufacturing: Design & Innovation, World Class Manufacturing, Skills & Human Resources, IT in Manufacturing, Logistics & Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, plus, an Energy Business "show within a show."
The symposium features innovators and thought leaders from across government, manufacturing and energy as keynotes and speakers, including Secretary Al Frink, Department of Commerce, Ross Robson, of the esteemed Shingo Prize, Tom Murray from the Environmental Protection Agency and many more. The program includes 48 tracks on real-world case studies and successes that cover topics such as globalization, best Lean practices, and the increasingly important concerns surrounding energy. Sponsors include Deloitte, Chevron, TBM Consulting and DataCraft.
