BWise and Business Objects Extend Partnership
Business Wire, July 5, 2006
NEW YORK -- BWise, a leading provider of compliance and enterprise risk management software, and Business Objects, the world's leading provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, today announced an extension of their partnership.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Business Objects Enterprise Edition reporting software will become the standard reporting engine within the BWise compliance and internal control software. Through this agreement, BWise customers will receive more flexibility in automated scheduling and emailing of reports, enhanced performance and greater scalability of reporting in general.
"It was only two years ago that BWise and Business Objects first started their partnership by embedding the Crystal Reports Engine into their application," says John Campbell, Director OEM Europe for Business Objects. Stephan Kosters, OEM Business Development Manager stated, "The partnership turned out to be very successful in the market and therefore it was only logical to extend that partnership. Our flagship Business Objects Enterprise Edition is now included in the BWise Internal Control offering, providing BWise customers with even more BI functionality."
"Our worldwide customers experience the power and ease of use of our Internal Control software. This leads to extremely fast user application acceptance within large organizations, with an increasing usage of the vast number of reports and dashboards available in our application," says Tonny Boerboom, COO of BWise. "This success is the foundation that will further enhance our reporting through a state-of-the-art reporting engine. Business Objects Enterprise Edition has become the de-facto standard in reporting."
