Factory Card & Party Outlet Corp. Announces Sales for June

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Factory Card & Party Outlet Corp. (NASDAQ:FCPO) announced today that net sales for the five-week period ended July 1, 2006 increased 6.3 percent, compared with the five-week period ended July 2, 2005. Comparable store sales for the same period increased 3.4 percent.

"We continue to make progress on several key initiatives designed to improve top line growth," stated Gary W. Rada, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We were especially pleased with the results from our targeted marketing initiative during June," added Mr. Rada.
