ExxonMobil Boosts Performance of Mobilith SHC Series of Synthetic Greases; Companies in Energy, General Manufacturing, Processing and Primary Metals Industries Can Benefit from New Mobilith SHC Synthetic Greases
Business Wire, July 6, 2006
FAIRFAX, Va. -- To help industrial maintenance managers enhance the durability of their company's equipment, ExxonMobil today announced that it has upgraded its entire line of Mobilith SHC(R) greases, a family of high-performance synthetic greases that are designed to extend the life of bearings.
Formulated with proprietary lithium-complex thickeners, the new Mobilith SHC greases deliver excellent adhesion, rust protection and oxidative stability. As a result, these greases provide exceptional protection even under the most demanding pressure and temperature conditions, helping to extend regreasing intervals and optimize machine efficiency.
"Today, as a result of advancements in equipment design and manufacturing practices, there is a great demand for high-performance greases that can deliver excellent performance in even the most extreme operating conditions," said Michael Dionisio, industrial lubricants advisor, Americas, ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties. "Mobilith SHC series of greases have been formulated to meet the most stringent manufacturing requirements and to help companies enhance equipment performance and maintain profitable production levels."
Offered in ISO 100, 220, 460 and 1500 viscosity grades, Mobilith SHC greases are ideally suited for the energy (power), general manufacturing, process industries and primary metals markets.
To complement the new formulation, Mobilith SHC greases are now packaged in plastic cartridges to provide greater package durability and to help minimize leakage.
