Glowpoint Selected for Distance Learning Application; University to Facilitate Classes Using a Fully Managed IP-based Video Conferencing Solution

HILLSIDE, N.J. -- Glowpoint, Inc. (OTC: GLOW.PK), a world leading broadcast-quality, IP-based video managed service provider announced today that it has been selected to provide an international educational institution with a fully managed IP-based video conferencing solution, including hosting services.
The multi-year agreement calls for Glowpoint's IP-based video subscription service to be installed at all of the university's campus locations. Glowpoint will also host the university's Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) and will manage its multipoint-bridged video conference calls for daily classes. The daily classes will be held in a distance learning environment, where professors will lecture and collaborate from one campus with students located at remote campus classrooms. The solution is expected to be used for more than 50 hours of per week.
