Dassault Systemes Announces DELMIA 2006 Worldwide User Conferences; ``Collaboration in Action'' Educates Attendees on Digital Manufacturing Applications and Benefits

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Dassault Systemes (NASDAQ:DASTY) (BOURSE:DSY) (EURONEXT:13065), has announced the dates and locations of its 2006 DELMIA digital manufacturing Worldwide User Conferences titled "Collaboration in Action." The North American conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, Michigan on October 11-12. DELMIA will also hold a European conference in Fellbach, Germany on October 18-19, and an Asia Pacific event in Yokohama, Japan on October 31-November 1. These annual conferences provide a forum for prominent representatives of various industries to exchange ideas and information about the impact of digital manufacturing in product creation.

The North American conference will feature an opening day keynote address from John Fikany general manager, US Manufacturing Industries, Microsoft, a Dassault Systemes (DS) partner company. Fikany is responsible for the development of Microsoft's Manufacturing Sector strategy, solutions portfolio, cross-region communications, partnering and go-to-market, and sell-to and sell-through initiatives with OEMs and suppliers.

Additionally, an aerospace and automotive industry keynote address will be featured, including a presentation from Ken Kreafle, general manager, Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing, North America, Inc. Executive-level OEM and supplier representatives from these sectors will provide valuable insight into the implementation of digital manufacturing technology within their companies. Dassault Systemes President and CEO Bernard Charles will speak on how DS is positioned to meet today's product development and manufacturing challenges and analyst Ed Miller, president of CIMdata will provide an end of the day wrap up.

Day two of the conference will feature "how to" sessions and workshops based on Best Practices structured in a manner that allows attendees to maximize their time and investment in the conference by choosing topics that are most applicable to their industry and application focus.
