Harte-Hanks Acquires StepDot Software GmbH; A Leading German Data Integration and Data Quality Provider will be Combined with Harte-Hanks Trillium Software®

SAN ANTONIO -- Harte Hanks Inc. (NYSE:HHS), a worldwide direct and targeted marketing company, today announced that it has acquired StepDot Software GmbH of Germany. StepDot, based in Boblingen, Germany, has been a value-added reseller specializing in data quality and integration solutions for Harte Hanks since 2002.
Harte-Hanks further announced that it plans to integrate StepDot into its Trillium Software operations, and will now do business as Harte-Hanks Trillium Software - Germany GmbH.

StepDot has numerous corporations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland among its clients, representing financial services, automotive and pharmaceutical among other sectors.

Financial terms of the acquisition agreement are not disclosed. As a result of the acquisition, Klaus Webersinke, chief executive officer of StepDot, now is named vice president, Central Europe, for Harte-Hanks Trillium Software.
