VERO BEACH, Fla. -- Former FBI Crisis Management and Negotiations Expert Brings Hands on Experience, Vast Knowledge and Skill to Coach2100 team

Coach2100, Inc., the leader in custom developed applications and technology for command and control emergency situations, announced today the company has contracted with Byron Sage, a highly decorated retired FBI executive and an experienced law enforcement & crisis management professional, to lead the company's effort to provide its state of the art applications to virtually all levels of government and civilian agencies who have a vested interest in crisis management.

The highly decorated Sage has over 36 years experience in law enforcement, and recently retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after 29 years of service. Prior to his retirement from the FBI, he was assigned as the National and International Crisis Negotiation Program Manager within the FBI's Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG). He also managed the FBI's "Overseas Response to Kidnappings of U.S. Citizens" while assigned to CIRG. Mr. Sage has deployed internationally on multiple occasions in support of this vital program area.

"Byron is not only a highly decorated veteran of our country serving with the FBI, he is arguably one of the top crisis management professionals in the entire United States," said Jim Camp, CEO and founder of Coach2100. "When someone of Byron's stature in law enforcement is able to take his 'boots on the ground' experience and demonstrate to a key audience what the Coach2100 technology can do, he is doing a great service for our country."

Currently, Sage and Camp are spearheading a cross-country campaign, meeting with various federal, state, local, military and other agency representatives and emergency responders, demonstrating the Coach 2100 real-time command and control technology.

The team will be in San Francisco in late June to demonstrate Coach2100 system capabilities to several agencies throughout the Bay Area. The United States Coast Guard, who will be hosting the event, will provide aircraft, ship and auxiliary resources, while the FBI will provide automobile resources. The varied emergency response platforms will all be connected and sharing information with a command and control center utilizing the Coach2100 system capabilities.

"I am looking forward to bringing the Coach2100 technology to state, local and national agencies in an effort to provide the country with the most secure, reliable, real-time information system for managing emergency situations," said Byron Sage. "The Coach2100 technology is the only disaster management solution that allows for military, fire and rescue, police, emergency medical teams and government organizations to communicate with each other across one system. I am not aware of any other technology on the market today like it."

Sage founded International Crisis Management, Inc. in 1998 with a focus on providing operational consultation and preventative training to law enforcement and the private sector. Additionally, he has participated in School Safety and Emergency Preparedness training on behalf of the Governor of Texas since 2002. He has been called upon to provide expert analysis of critical incidents and analysis of major law enforcement operations, focusing on Crisis Management and Crisis Negotiation efforts. Mr. Sage has testified before Congress on three separate occasions in support of Crisis Management and Crisis Negotiation efforts undertaken by the FBI. He has extensive experience with relation to the media and public speaking engagements.

Coach2100 has ramped up its efforts due to the recent start of the Official Hurricane Season, which commenced June 1st. Hurricane experts issued a worst-possible forecast for Floridians and other coastal residents to "Expect a near 100 percent chance of another active, unnerving and frightening hurricane season, followed by at least 10 or 15 more."

The City of O'Fallon, Illinois, was the first US local government entity to launch the Coach2100 disaster management technology, rolling it out to local fire and rescue, law enforcement and other city officials to access and share information in real-time, in the event of any disaster.
