Business Wire, June 20, 2006
ARLINGTON, Va. -- Aaron Milmeister, a rising junior at the University of Oregon, received a phone call that will likely make him the envy of his friends during the next school year. Milmeister won the Ultimate Dorm Room sweepstakes, a prize package he was selected to receive after the TechKnowOverload (TKO) Tour, powered by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA(R)), visited his Oregon campus.
"It's totally unbelievable that I won," said Milmeister. "I can't even put into words how amazing this feels. I never win anything and I know people always say this but it's true. Going back to school in the fall will be totally different for me thanks to CEA, Mr. Youth and the TKO Tour."
As the winner of the contest, by random drawing, Milmeister wins an extensive array of tech gadgets. The prize includes two LCD flat panel televisions, from Audiovox (20-inch) and Mitsubishi (52-inch), an Xbox 360, a Motorola SLVR from Cingular with one year of AskMeNow service and a portable satellite radio from Sirius.
