NEW YORK -- The Board of Directors of The Turkish Investment Fund, Inc. (NYSE:TKF) has determined that there was insufficient net investment income and net realized gains to declare a 2006 mid-year distribution.
The Turkish Investment Fund, Inc. (the "Fund"), advised by Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc., is a closed-end management investment company seeking to achieve long-term capital appreciation through investments primarily in equity securities of Turkish corporations.
