Amity Entertainment & Genius Products Partner on THE BIG COMFY COUCH; Loonette & Molly featured on DVDs in United States

NASHVILLE, Tenn. & SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Amity Entertainment, Inc., holder of worldwide merchandising and licensing rights to THE BIG COMFY COUCH, has reached an agreement with Genius Products, Inc. (OTCBB:GNPI), producer and distributor of home entertainment products, to be the exclusive DVD distributor of the award-winning preschool property THE BIG COMFY COUCH throughout the United States.
Under the agreement, Amity Entertainment has granted Genius the DVD and audio distribution rights to 100 episodes of THE BIG COMFY COUCH, featuring the popular characters Molly and Loonette. The deal includes the new season of 22 episodes premiering this year on public TV stations in the United States. Amity and Genius also plan to release DVD's of the show for the Spanish market.

THE BIG COMFY COUCH first aired on U.S. public television in the 1995-96 TV season, and continues to be a mainstay on Treehouse TV, a preschool network in Canada. THE BIG COMFY COUCH touring show continues to entertain audiences across the U.S. and Canada. Over its lifetime, the program has taught lessons such as sharing, diversity and self-respect to children in more than 20 countries worldwide.
