FOLSOM, Calif. -- The first day of summer is bringing the first significant heat wave of the year. Widespread triple-digit temperatures will result in high electricity demand and may impact power supplies. California ISO urges consumers to practice conservation habits through Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in order to reduce the strain on the power grid and prevent electrical emergencies.

begun and will continue until the emergency has passed.
