iPost Announces Integration Capabilities with MarketLive V. 5
Business Wire, June 21, 2006
NOVATO, Calif. -- iPost, a leader in retention email marketing services, is happy to announce exciting integration capabilities with the newly released MarketLive 5 e-commerce platform.
Marketlive, Inc. is the market leader of e-commerce retail technology and services for Intelligent Selling(R) on the Web. The company powers more than 150 websites for today's top marketers, including Keds, Boston Proper, Lucy.com, Dylan's Candy Bar, Garden Botanika, Stride Rite, Athleta, Sundance Catalog and other well-known consumer brands.
MarketLive 5 features innovative technology that allows retailers to rapidly deploy new product releases and preserve customizations while upgrading to the new release. The platform also introduces international capabilities that will enable retailers to sell to customers outside the US.
MarketLive 5 is the first solution in its class to deliver a complete software developers kit (SDK), meaning that customers, systems integrators and third-party software vendors can integrate with and develop extensions to the MarketLive platform. The MarketLive SDK will allow clients who utilize iPost email integration to facilitate easy movement of subscriber information and ultimately to use behavioral data from their customer databases to segment, target and personalize their email campaigns. This will increase campaign relevance to the consumer and ROI for the marketer.
Additionally, iPost's email integration for MarketLive 5 users leverages the capabilities of another popular business tool, Omniture, the leading provider of on-demand Web analytics. The iPost-Omniture integration allows clients to compare their HTML email campaigns with their website activity and get precise performance and ROI data.
Integration with MarketLive and its implementation of Omniture are part of iPost's overall integration capabilities which already include other third-party applications, including transactional commerce systems such as Pegasus, CRM tools such as Salesforce.com, and reputation management platforms including Habeas.
iPost is delighted to have the opportunity to introduce these great new features to MarketLive clients. "Our integration with MarketLive 5 can enable users to better understand the success of their e-commerce activities, and will help them to create more highly targeted and effective email campaigns," said Russell McDonald, CEO of iPost.
