Savvion Executive to Speak at BrainStorm BPM Conference in San Francisco; Conference Panels Will Focus on Transforming to a Process-Driven Enterprise and Building a Process Team

Business Wire, June 26, 2006

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Savvion(R), the industry's leading business process management (BPM) company, today announced that Patrick Morrissey, senior vice president of marketing and business development for Savvion, will speak this week on "Transforming to a Process Driven Enterprise" and "Assembling a BPM Project Team" at the Business Process Management conference hosted by the BrainStorm Group. Savvion is a sponsor of the conference, which will be held June 27 - 28, 2006 at The Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco, CA.

Morrissey will participate in a panel session moderated by Colin Teubner, analyst, information delivery, at Forrester Research, on June 27 from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. PDT. A select group of solution providers will address how to build a BPM project team as organizations adopt BPM and new job titles are created to support the deployment. The panel will discuss and explore the best mix of roles and responsibilities for a successful process project team.

Morrissey will also participate in a panel session moderated by Tom Dwyer, research director, at the Yankee Group, on June 28 from 10:45 - 11:30 a.m. PDT. The panelists will address the promise of transforming to a process-driven enterprise, including better synergy between business requirements and information technology solutions, faster response to change, and improved visibility of business operations. However, there are roadblocks that prevent the design of a fluid organization that delay the realization of the promise. The panel will review the roadblocks, discuss lessons learned, and present recommendations for realizing a process-driven enterprise. Morrissey is a 15-year veteran of the enterprise software market and will share his insights on BPM solutions, best practices in building process teams, and how Savvion can bring IT and business users together to drive organizational success.

In addition, as a conference sponsor, attendees will have the opportunity to see the latest version of Savvion's award winning BPM product, Savvion BusinessManager(TM), as well as talk to Savvion experts about the best way to go about a BPM implementation and achieve ROI in 90 days or less.

"As the leader in business process management software, we believe that bridging the critical gaps between people, business process, and IT can make any organization a process driven enterprise," said Morrissey. "Savvion is the only solution that can help organizations manage the entire process lifecycle -- from first process to enterprise standardization, to business process outsourcing (BPO). I look forward to sharing how BPM and Savvion are the next step in the evolution of competitive advantage."
