Terrance O'Malley to Join Fried Frank

NEW YORK -- Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Terrance J. O'Malley has joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate Department. He joins Fried Frank from Schulte, Roth & Zabel LLP where he was a partner in the Investment Management Group.

Mr. O'Malley is one of the nation's leading experts on the regulation of investment management firms, including hedge fund managers. His practice focuses on SEC registration, compliance, oversight and investigatory issues. He also assists with SEC enforcement matters and M&A transactions involving investment management firms.

He received his J.D. from Cornell University Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from Boston College.
