"MontaVista Software is the leading embedded Linux software company in the world, with a strong tradition of applying innovation and ingenuity across today's mobile, embedded and telecommunications markets."
Kelly previously served as chief operating officer for Cirrus Logic, a $1 billion diversified semiconductor company. (Nasdaq: FEIC) and SendMail Inc. Kelly earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, Calif.
"I'm very pleased to have Tom Kelly as MontaVista's new CEO -- he has outstanding credentials, is highly experienced in leading global business initiatives and has a track record of outstanding operating performance," said Ready, founder and new chief technology officer, MontaVista Software.
