Marathon Technologies and IGT Sign Distribution Agreement; Alliance Expands Marathon's Reach Into Gaming Industry

LITTLETON, Mass. -- Marathon Technologies Corporation, the leading provider of high availability software for Microsoft(R) Windows(R) environments, announced today that IGT (NYSE: IGT) is now distributing Marathon's everRun FT high availability solution in conjunction with the IGT Advantage(TM) Casino System, a fully integrated casino management system solution. While not physically interacting with gaming applications, Marathon's everRun FT will work seamlessly with the IGT Advantage(TM) System to help casinos ensure that their applications, which support business critical systems such as slot machines, are always up and running.

Under terms of the agreement, IGT will distribute Marathon's high availability solution, and the two companies will work cooperatively on joint marketing, sales and lead generation initiatives.
