Spotfire Director to Outline Trends in Analytics Technology at Semiconductor Design-for-Manufacturing Conference
Business Wire, June 6, 2006
SOMERVILLE, Mass. -- Spotfire, Inc., a leading provider of analytics software, today announced that Brad Hopper, the company's senior director of industry applications, will be a featured panelist at the Canaccord Adams Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) Conference on June 8th, 2006 in San Francisco, California.
Mr. Hopper will participate in a panel on the near term evolution of DFM companies and products entitled "Investing in DFM--Where Do We Go From Here." He will propose that next generation DFM technologies will present an easier to use, visual analytics interface, linked to a wider variety of design, simulation and manufacturing data. The outcome will be a significantly larger cross-disciplinary user base that can understand, collaborate on and derive competitive advantage from DFM studies.
Mr. Hopper launched the high tech manufacturing business segment for Spotfire in 1999, and continues to work closely with Spotfire's customer base of innovative semiconductor and electronics manufacturing companies, including Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, Toshiba, Samsung, Amkor and others.
"Spotfire is taking a unique, business results oriented approach to semiconductor analytics and DFM that sets it apart from traditional suppliers in this segment," said Dennis Wassung, VP Equity Research for Canaccord Adams' Advanced Design and Test Technologies franchise, and organizer of the conference. "We are pleased to have Brad's perspective on our panel."
Spotfire's invitation to the conference comes as it is experiencing strong demand for its new Spotfire(R) Analytics for Semiconductor solution, which was launched in February 2006. Spotfire Analytics for Semiconductor is a library of proven tools and workflows that apply process-specific interactive analytics to customer engineering and manufacturing data to reduce time to market for new high tech products.
