Forest Resources LLC Announces the Acquisition of Weyerhaeuser's Valley View Business

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. -- Forest Resources LLC today announced the acquisition of the equipment and business of Weyerhaeuser Corporation's Valley View facility ("Valley View") by Ivex Packaging LLC ("Ivex"), a subsidiary of Forest Resources.
The addition of the Valley View assets increases Ivex's sales and production capability of numerous specialty single face products including lamp-wrappers, cohesive pads, case ready pads for meat and poultry processors, egg-sleeves, and vertical organizers and pads for consumer and beverage products. Howard Brennan, President of Ivex Packaging, said, "We are very excited about the addition of the Valley View assets. The business is a perfect fit for Ivex as it not only expands our product offerings so that we can better service our customers, but positions us well for future growth within the specialty packaging sector."
