Dirt MotorSports, Inc. Announces 2006 Empire DIRT Series from DIRT Owned Cayuga County Fair Speedway to Air Live on Time Warner Cable with Internet Simulcast On DIRTvision™.com

WEEDSPORT, N.Y. -- The 2006 Empire DIRT Series features live television coverage from Cayuga County Fair Speedway on Sunday nights at the home of DIRT MotorSports NorthEast in Weedsport, N.Y. The partnership with Time Warner Syracuse calls for Time Warner Cable to become a corporate partner of the seven Empire DIRT Series broadcasts while broadcasting a total of 18-shows.

The 2006 edition of the Empire DIRT Series begins Sunday, July 16 and continues through September 3 at the DIRT owned Cayuga County Fair Speedway. With broadcasts beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, the hour-and-a-half program features a 'This Week On DIRT' recap style show before the action heats up with flag-to-flag coverage of each 35-lap DIRT Big-Block Modified main event.
Each Empire DIRT Series show will be carried live by Time Warner Cable, with the feed expected to reach more than 1.2 million homes throughout New York State. TWC will also re-broadcast each program two additional times each week. In addition, motorsports fans across the country will be able to tune into DIRTvision.com to watch the live broadcasts.
