Searchforvideo.com Unveils ''Searchforvideo'' Buddy for Yahoo! and MSN Instant Messaging Users, Enabling Extensive Video Search Capabilities Within Today's Most Popular IM Clients
Business Wire, March 1, 2006
SEATTLE -- With previously launched AOL Instant Messenger support, powerful Searchforvideo technology provides collective audience of 100 million IM users with instant access to the Web's top video content
FUSA Capital Corporation (OTCBB:FSAC), parent company of searchforvideo.com and searchformedia.com and a leading innovator of video and audio search engine technologies for online and mobile consumers as well as digital content providers, today announced the launch of patent-pending video search and alerting features for instant messaging users on the MSN and Yahoo! networks.
Following the recent successful debut of the AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) 'searchforvideo' buddy, which enables AIM users to search for video from within the AIM client, members of the MSN and Yahoo! IM networks will now have the same access to video search and alerting features within their IM clients. Yahoo! and MSN users can add the extensive searching capabilities to their instant messaging program simply by adding "searchforvideo" to their buddy lists and starting a conversation with their new "friend."
"Today's generation of media-savvy Internet users spend as much if not more time on their instant messaging clients as they do browsing the Web via traditional browsers," said Jenifer Osterwalder, chief executive officer of FUSA Capital Corporation. "By rolling out our proprietary video search and alert capabilities to fully interact with all of the major instant messaging networks, we are enabling today's Internet generation to more seamlessly share their favorite video content with others in a space that's already very familiar to them. This technology also has many potential applications in the mobile environment, which continues to prove a rapidly growing space for Internet technologies."
"With tools like ours, instant messaging environments are expanding beyond personal communication to also include content discovery and media consumption as well," said Tom St. John, chief technology officer. "By providing support for the three most popular IM networks, video search and alert technologies from searchforvideo.com are now available to an audience of more than 100 million IM users."
