Compendia Bioscience Obtains Exclusive Rights to Commercialize Oncomine™

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Compendia Bioscience, Inc., a newly formed bioinformatics company, has received exclusive rights from the University of Michigan for the development and support of Oncomine(TM), an industry leading cancer profiling database.

Oncomine pre-computes cancer profiles, clusters, and gene set modules so scientists can focus on discovery--enhancing productivity.

In conjunction with the license to Oncomine(TM), Compendia Bioscience, Inc. has also received rights to HiMap (Human Interactome Map), a bioinformatics tool developed to navigate the human protein-protein interaction network.
