GLOBALCOMM 2006 Signs on Exhibit Surveys, Inc. to Provide Audited Attendance and Exhibit Numbers; Audit Report Ensures Accuracy of Figures, Offers Quantifiable Measurement for Participation ROI
Business Wire, March 14, 2006
ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), owner and organizer of GLOBALCOMM(TM), today announced that it has retained Exhibit Surveys, Inc., a full service research firm providing market intelligence and measurement for the exposition industry, to conduct a comprehensive audit immediately following the inaugural GLOBALCOMM 2006.
GLOBALCOMM, the next-generation communications marketplace and summit, will be held June 4-8, 2006, at Chicago's McCormick Place. For TIA, GLOBALCOMM replaces SUPERCOMM(R) as TIA's annual industry event.
"By working with Exhibit Surveys, GLOBALCOMM is able to offer its attendees, exhibitors and the industry a true and verified measurement of actual attendance, demographics and size of the show. Our audited statistics set a higher standard in providing participants the tools they need to maximize their tradeshow investment," said TIA President Matthew J. Flanigan.
"Our audit reports verify the accuracy of attendance figures and demographic information gathered in attendee registration," said Jonathan "Skip" Cox, President and COO, Exhibit Surveys. "The Audit Report will assure current and prospective GLOBALCOMM exhibitors that their investment decisions are based on valid show statistics."
GLOBALCOMM 2006 will feature 450 exhibiting companies, free keynote addresses and panels, paid conferences by the International Engineering Consortium, Light Reading/CMP Media, Telephony and other organizations, and co-location with OSP EXPO, the Outside Plant Exposition and Conference. Programming highlights include a series of GLOBALCOMM Summits, produced by TIA, focusing on the Americas, Europe-Middle East-Africa, and Asia-Pacific, as well as an Innovations Summit -- the latter featuring presentations by new and emerging technology companies. In addition, TIA, organizer of the Supplier Diversity summits held at SUPERCOMM, will produce a new TIA Supplier Diversity Summit at GLOBALCOMM. The final SUPERCOMM(R) was held in June 2005.
