CORBIS' DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SERVICE RECEIVES PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AWARD; LEADING ANALYST FIRM RECOGNIZES COMPANY IN DIGITAL MEDIA APPLICATIONS FIELD

Analyst firm Frost & Sullivan named Corbis' Digital Asset Management Service the recipient of the 2006 Digital Media Applications Product of the Year Award. Frost & Sullivan presented this award to Corbis for demonstrating excellence in the development of its hosted digital asset management service.

"Corbis' commitment to growth, continuous product refinement, value addition and expansion of services to its client base has made it a top hosted solution provider for digital asset management," said Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst Mukul Krishna. "Only recently has the market started seeing the potential of this business model and has been trying to catch-up."

Through the acquisition of eMotion, Corbis has been able to provide companies with the ability to store and organize marketing materials such as photos, video, audio, logos, presentations, brochures and advertisements. Corbis hosts the materials online, allowing marketing departments, advertisers, and store owners around the world easy access to the exact marketing materials they are looking for. It also allows the organization to control who gets access to these items, and how often.

"Corbis is continually looking to improve its service by providing new functions that customers can choose to efficiently manage their digital assets," said Krishna. "Frost & Sullivan has recognized these efforts with this award."

Major corporations such as Starbucks, ExxonMobil, Birkenstock, Nationwide Insurance, Aflac, and Universal Studios rely on Corbis' digital asset management service to better leverage their existing investments in media assets.

"Corbis' digital asset management service is a key component of our marketing infrastructure," said Scott Radcliffe, Marketing Director at Birkenstock Distribution USA, Inc. the Novato, Calif.-based footwear distributor. "We use the service in many ways, ranging from giving our retailers access to our latest images and product information to providing them with a customizable ad building tool."

Corbis' existing image licensing, assignment and representation, and rights clearance services add to its digital asset management services, broadening the complete solution available for its customers.

"The additional features that Corbis has added to its service in the last year, integrated with the image licensing capabilities that are now available to customers, yields the most compelling digital asset management service offering on the market today," said Jon Schupp, vice president of Corbis' digital asset management service.
